Named for the height of illusionary skill, Close Magic is an extraordinarily mesmerizing variant of our crystal domed ashtray. We've paired a dichroic dome coating with a bright nickel finish to give all of the shiny, shimmery, bubbly feels.
Only 30 of these hypnotic sets exist. Truly a magical gift.
We partnered with Bavaria’s premier glass innovator, Stumpe Glas, and Czechia’s prestige crystal foundry, Bomma, to craft Close Magic. They engineered every part to our exacting specifications.

This is a smoke agnostic product. Whatever you choose to smoke will fit well, rest comfortably, and be easy to tap-to-ash. The crystal snuffer dome extinguishes your smoke and keeps odors contained. Close Magic ships in a custom wooden crate made in Germany.

We work with six, family run, prestige manufacturers in three European countries to produce each Close Magic.
Close Magic is limited to just 30 sets. Each is individually numbered and comes with a un-reproducible proof of originality ensuring provenance and authenticity.
We cribbed the mechanics of the proof from how Banksy’s official representatives, Pest Control, validate his work.
- Each set ships with a Jeremy Tinder designed letterpress card printed at San Francisco’s Aesthetic Union
- Each card has a unique three word pass phrase written on the back
- Every card is numerically keyed with its corresponding numbered Close Magic
- The card is torn in half by hand, creating a unique tear pattern
- We photograph and record this tear pattern, the unique pass phrase, the numeric matching, and keep this information on file.
- We will validate the authenticity of Close Magic through careful examination of these proofs of originality
