Clear Crystal Ashtray with Dome

Most ashtrays look good until the moment you use them. The Object was designed for that moment. Set the dome down and the smoke extinguishes slowly inside the crystal. Ash and odor contained. Pick it up later, relight, enjoy.
Built for the smoke you choose: pre-rolls, palo santo, cigarettes, cigars. 5.6 lbs of Czech crystal, precision-milled German brass, hand-finished Portuguese cork.
An edition of 230, individually numbered.
Pair it with The Rest, a solid walnut or rift-sawn oak base milled to fit the dome.
We partnered with Bavaria’s premier glass innovator, Stumpe Glas, and Czechia’s prestige crystal foundry, Bomma, to craft The Object. They engineered every part to our exacting specifications.

Whatever rests in the base will sit correctly, ash cleanly, and extinguish fully under the dome.
The Object ships in a custom wooden crate made in Germany. Please allow 6 to 8 business days. We'll be in touch to confirm your shipping details ahead of dispatch.
Customized engraving on the bottom of the ashtray is included free with purchase.
There is a 25 character (including spaces) limit.
NOTE: once engraved, The Object cannot be returned.

The Object is an edition of 230. Each is individually numbered and comes with a un-reproducible proof of originality ensuring provenance and authenticity.

- Each card has a unique three word pass phrase written on the back
- Every card is numerically keyed with its corresponding numbered Object
- The card is torn in half by hand, creating a unique tear pattern
- We photograph and record this tear pattern, the unique pass phrase, the numeric matching, and keep this information on file.
- We will validate the authenticity of The Object through careful examination of these proofs of originality

Each Object ships with a Jeremy Tinder designed letterpress card, printed at San Francisco's Aesthetic Union. The card is torn in half by hand, and we photograph the tear, the unique three-word passphrase, and the numeric match, and keep this on file.
